SinaiGPT
An early Torah custom GPT in ChatGPT, shared in the group's first week in July 2025. Still online, but it answers from the model's memory, so treat it as history rather than a source tool.

SinaiGPT is a custom GPT inside ChatGPT, titled "Sinai" with the tagline "Your AI Torah Assistant." A member shared it in late July 2025, two days after the group started, with the note that he had made it "ages ago." It was the group's first homemade AI tool.
The GPT is still live as of October 21, 2026, at tinyurl.com/SinaiGPT, which opens it in ChatGPT.
Should you use it?
For a quick explanation or a starting idea, it works like ChatGPT with Torah-focused instructions. For anything you will quote, no.
A custom GPT is a set of instructions, sometimes with a few uploaded files, on top of a general model. Whatever is not in those files comes from what the model remembers, and that is where invented Likkutei Sichos pages and made-up Rebbe answers come from. In December 2025 a member had ChatGPT play a "chassidishe rov" and got fake Rebbe answers with page numbers in Igros and Likkutei Sichos. Instructions alone do not fix that.
For sources, the group's tools in 2026 are:
- Daiah (Chabad.AI) for the Rebbe's Torah and Chassidus.
- The Sefaria Texts MCP and the Shluchim Exchange Torah MCP, which give Claude or ChatGPT real texts to quote.
- NotebookLM with sources you upload.
Why it is on the wiki
