A free online library of Chassidus as real text (Likkutei Sichos in all 39 volumes, with footnotes alongside), the group's usual answer when someone needs a sicha in a form an AI can read.

dach.dev calls itself "Your Digital Library of Chassidus." Its home page offers Likkutei Sichos, maamarim and Sichos Kodesh, and a search by concept, topic or parsha. Because the text is real text rather than a scanned page, you can select it and paste it into an AI.
What is there
Checked on 2026-10-21:
- Likkutei Sichos, all 39 volumes, browsable by volume or by parsha. Each volume's table of contents lists the sichos with a one-line summary of each.
- A reader for each sicha with the text in the main column and the footnotes in a separate side panel, plus a study-guide tab.
- An English interface option.
The old address members shared in 2025, dach.dev/library, now shows "page not found"; start from the home page.
Why the group uses it
Hebrew PDFs of Likkutei Sichos break most AI tools. The pages have two columns, right to left, with footnote numbers in the middle of sentences. Uploading the PDF often produces scrambled text, or a copyright refusal. Pasting clean text from dach.dev avoids both, and the footnotes stay separate instead of being mixed into the body.
A prompt members use once the text is pasted in:
Below is the full text of a sicha from Likkutei Sichos, followed by its
footnotes. Translate it into clear English for a shiur. Keep the structure
(the questions, then the answer). Keep Hebrew terms a shliach would use,
with a short explanation the first time. Mark each footnote number where
it appears and translate the footnotes at the end. Do not add explanations
that are not in the text; if a line is unclear, say so instead of guessing.

Things to know
- It has typos. In March 2026 builders in the group called it "a tremendous resource" but noted OCR typos in the text. Compare a key line with a printed volume before you quote it.
- Not everything is on it. In November 2025 members noted that hosafos were missing. For what is not there, see the other sources below.
- Using the text in your own app is a separate question. A shliach who built a site of AI summaries from dach.dev text in March 2026 kept it private because the text is not licensed for that. See Chassidus Copyright and Access.
When the sicha is only a PDF
Tips from members in late 2025, for a sicha or maamar that is only available as a scan:
- Upload the PDF to Google Drive and choose "Open with Google Docs" to get editable text, then clean it up.
- Tell the AI up front that the page has two columns read right to left, with footnotes.
- For a one-column maamar, the Gemini panel in Google Drive handled it well for one shliach.
