Step 2: Open the MIDI in MuseScore (also free), at musescore.org. It auto-converts MIDI notes to formal sheet music. Clean up the timing (quantize to quarter or eighth notes), add lyrics or chords if needed, and export to PDF, MusicXML, or PNG.
