ChabadLabs AI FOR SHLICHUS

berel.me

A portfolio of small, single-purpose Chabad web utilities, mostly vibe-coded, with no logins and no stored data.

On this page

berel.me is a portfolio of community micro-tools, most of them built with Claude Opus 4.5. Each tool solves one small, Chabad-specific problem.

What it is

berel.me/... is a kebab-of-utilities URL pattern. The builder ships small, focused tools rapidly, posts them to the community, and iterates from feedback. The unifying philosophy: do one thing, no logins, no persistent user data, no payment processing.

Why this matters

This portfolio is the community's proof of what shluchim can ship with AI: small, in-browser, no-login utilities that solve one concrete need at a time. It is the antithesis of the "AI builds my whole CRM" fantasy, and it works.

See Vibe Coding for why this kind of tool stays safe: no databases, no user accounts, no payments. As one member put it, these are "things that won't fail catastrophically if the code gets stale."

The build process

Mostly Claude Opus 4.5 in Claude Code. Many tools start from a single prompt and iterate from community feedback within hours.

Design critique

The builder doubles as the community's resident UX critic. On the early Megillah app, the suggestion was that the grogger should be a shake-triggered button rather than a Haman-name highlighter. Most such suggestions land in shipped products.
