Gamma
An AI presentation, website, and document builder; the community default for Torah-class slide decks and shiur visuals.
On this page
Gamma (gamma.app) is an AI presentation, website, and document builder. As one member put it, "once you create a few projects and get the hang of it it's really easy and quick."
What it is
Gamma generates polished presentations, one-page sites, and documents from a text prompt or outline. It is the community's default for Torah-class slide decks and weekly shiur visuals.
What the community uses it for
- Torah-class slide decks: weekly parsha presentations and shiur visuals.
- Hebrew-school class projects with kids.
- One-page websites as Gamma sites (cheaper than building from scratch).
- Funding presentations, when paired with Manus or Genspark.
- Visual presentations for shiurim; as one member noted, "Google NotebookLM and Gamma are pretty good."
Example
artificialwisdom.ai is a Gamma site, built as a demo of its capabilities.
Strengths
- Output looks polished out of the box.
- Quick iteration on layout and style.
- Built-in templates.
- Hebrew handling adequate for slide content.
Weaknesses
- Visual style can feel templated.
- Less control than a real designer would want.
- A paid tier is needed for serious volume.
Competing tools
- Beautiful.ai, presentation design.
- Napkin.ai (
napkin.ai), presentation design. - SlideSpeak (
slidespeak.co), design from transcripts. - NotebookLM, which now has slide-deck generation built in.
- Genspark, an agentic alternative.
- Manus.im, agentic; produces decks among many other artifacts.
