Personal AI Agents Go Mainstream

Who can make the best AI output? It can be in any format: a song, an article, an app, anything in between. The theme is Chutzah: using AI to make Chassidus accessible to a wider audience.
Lubavitcher Rabbi's Memoirs as a novel? Niggunim in K-Pop style? The AI's the limit!
Use our Shluchim Exchange MCP, use resources people have posted in the AI for Shlichus group, use anything and everything, and use your own creativity (or brainstorm with AI!).
There are over $2,000 in prizes, and the final is at the Kinus Hashluchim. The judges (a panel, TBD) pick the finalists from every entry, and they pick the winners. A weekly vote counts for the entries that had one, and people's choice follows the votes. Entries close Sunday, November 1, 11:59 pm New York time (22 Cheshvan).
Will you be the one to create Rashi and Tosfos on the Rebbe's sichos, or a podcast about Torah and Science?

The AI for Shlichus WhatsApp community now has groups in Hebrew, Russian, Spanish and French.
Same idea as the English group: shluchim sharing what works, asking questions and helping each other, in the language they work in.
Know a shliach who would be more at home in one of these groups? Send them the link.

A personal agent is an AI that has its own computer and can do things for you, like filling out online forms, following up on emails and basically anything you can do on a computer. It also keeps working autonomously when you're not chatting with it.
Earlier this year, if you wanted one, you built it yourself. OpenClaw, a free open-source agent, went viral in January, and NanoClaw, Hermes and others followed. They are great and powerful, and some shluchim have been doing incredible things with them, but they take real technical setup and maintenance.
Now the biggest companies are offering ready-made ones you can download and start using in minutes. Google's Gemini Spark came first, in May, and is now part of Google's $20 plan. xAI's Grok Bot followed in August, Meta's Muse in September, and OpenAI's Dots last week.
A number of new companies have also launched similar personal agents, like Instinct, Tab and others.
Our take. AI agents have been coming for a while, and now they are finally becoming accessible to normal, non-technical people. The future is here! Everyone will have a personal agent (or agents), and now's the time to get started.

Meta's personal agent, Muse, hit No. 1 among free apps on the US App Store ten days after it launched and held the spot for almost two weeks. It passed 5 million US downloads in 22 days. ChatGPT took 56 days to get there.
You message Muse what you need, and it makes a plan and does it: books a table, fills out forms, shops, writes emails, and even calls a business for you to book an appointment or ask for a quote.
It's free to start, with $20 and $100 monthly plans for heavier use. It works in the US and Canada, for adults, on iPhone, Android, the web and inside WhatsApp. Signing up asks for a payment card, even on the free plan.

The best way to understand personal agents is to use one. Pick one and give it a small, real job this week. Admin jobs are the best place to start.
Two rules to start: no payments, and nothing gets sent to anyone without your OK. Watch what it does the first few times.
Then tell us which one you picked in the AI for Shlichus WhatsApp group. For Shluchos, share it in the Shluchos AI group.
