Chabad Labs Webinars Are Now on Spotify

A phone on a stand playing a podcast episode beside a pair of studio headphones, with sound waves and music notes drawn around them.

Shluchim have been learning a lot from these webinars, and many watch the replays. After requests from a number of shluchim, we've made them available on Spotify and plan to publish on other platforms soon.

Claude Introduces Record a Skill

A bearded shliach in a hat talking into a desk microphone while a camera on a tripod records his laptop, with a checklist and a recording timeline on the table beside him.

You can now teach Claude a repeatable process by recording yourself doing it on your computer.

Think of turning a process into an SOP, or Standard Operating Procedure. You would normally create one for an employee. Here, you are creating one for your AI assistant.

It might be how you prepare for a webinar, make an event follow-up list, collect the right details for a program, or turn a rough voice note into a checked message.

Claude's new Record a skill feature in Cowork lets you demonstrate that process once. You do the task on your Mac and explain what you are deciding as you go. Claude then proposes a skill you can review, save, test, and improve.

You are teaching Claude your system: the order of steps, the checks you make, what can go wrong, and what a good result looks like.

How to try it:

  1. 01Pick a job you already know how to do well and that repeats often.
  2. 02Open the Claude desktop app on your Mac and switch to Cowork.
  3. 03Press the + button in the composer, choose Record a skill, and start recording.
  4. 04Do the task normally. Say out loud why you are making important choices.
  5. 05When the recording ends, read Claude's proposed skill before saving it.
  6. 06Test it on one low-risk job. Improve the checklist before relying on it for important work.

Everything shown or said during the recording may be captured, so beware of exposing private information and do not enter passwords while recording.

Available on Mac only at the moment, and not on unpaid plans.

ChatGPT Sites Turns a Chat Into Something People Can Use

A robotic arm placing content blocks into a website layout on a large screen, with a side panel of image, text and link building blocks.

ChatGPT Sites is a new way to turn an idea into a shareable, interactive resource from inside ChatGPT.

Just open ChatGPT, select Work, and type @Sites.

Then either ask it to turn the conversation into a site, describe your idea, or simply ask what you can use the feature for.

As with most things in AI, the best way to figure out how it can help you is by experimenting.

Sites is in public beta and rolling out in waves on the paid plans, so it may not have reached your account yet.

05 / One Thing to Try

Use a Handoff Summary Before a Long Chat Loses the Thread

One friendly robot handing a briefcase of files to a second robot, with folders and pages passing between them.

Every AI chat has a limited amount of working space. This is called its context window.

Think of it as the desk in front of the AI. At the start of a chat, the desk is clear. As you add messages, documents, instructions, links, and decisions, the desk gets full.

When a chat becomes very long, AI can take longer, repeat itself, or miss an older detail that mattered. The messages are still there, but the AI may no longer reliably use every older detail.

Before that happens, ask the AI:

Prompt to copy
Make a handoff summary for a fresh chat. Include the goal, decisions already made, important links and files, what is complete, what is still open, important boundaries, and the exact next step.

Copy that summary. Then start a fresh chat and paste it in.

You are giving the AI a clean desk with the right information in front of it. This is especially useful when you are working with connected files, long research, event planning, or an AI agent that needs clear boundaries.
