How do I keep AI image tools from garbling the Hebrew on my flyers?

This changed in 2026. Through 2025 every image model mangled Hebrew, so the answer was always to let AI make the picture and to place the Hebrew yourself. The leading models now render short Hebrew, a title, a date, a name, correctly and right to left. So look at what you got before you redo anything: often there is nothing to fix.

Proofread every letter anyway. Fall back to the two workflows below in three cases: the Hebrew came out wrong, you need exact typographic control, or the text is long or dense, where accuracy still slips.

1. 01Strip and replace. Generate the flyer, then tell the model to remove the Hebrew letters and leave placeholders while changing nothing else. Add the Hebrew afterward in a tool where you pick the font.
2. 02Background only. Generate just the visual background with no text, then set all of the Hebrew on top in Canva or Affinity.

Either way, Canva is where the Hebrew goes on, because that is where you control the exact font, size, and right-to-left order. GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana Pro both get short Hebrew right on the first try now, so treat retyping as polish you choose rather than a rescue you always need.
